CGS is looking for a Sr. Solutions Engineer with excellent knowledge of Avaya products and Voice Networking. The position is part of the Testing and Lab Manager team. Duties /
Responsibilities:
Define and document the architecture and integration approach for integrating 3rd Party Products with Avaya Products. Write and review configuration documents for integrated solutions, which are published on avaya. (also known as Avaya Application Notes). Provide customers with prompt responses to complex technical issues and questions. Integrated Avaya Products with numerous partners/service providers such as AudioCodes, RedSky, 911 ETC, 911 Enable, Spok, ConvergeOne and so on. and with products that are used in variety of industries. i.e., Public safety, Health Care, Contact Center, etc. Train, Educate and Support team members on various APIs provided by Avaya. i.e., SIP, CTI, H.323, etc. Work independently with very little supervision. Collaborate with various internal and external teams when troubleshooting issues in the field. Maintain and upgrade the lab network equipment. i.e., Network Switches/Routers, DNS/DHCP/VPN Servers. Install, Upgrade, Configure and Administer Avaya Products; Avaya SBCE, Avaya Aura Communication Manager, Avaya Aura Session Manager, Avaya Aura Application Enablement Services, Avaya IP Office, Avaya Breeze, Avaya Aura Media Server, Avaya Aura Experience Portal and Avaya Call Management System. Required Skills:
In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323) and TDM (ISDN) Familiarity with the use of Avaya APIs/SDKs Familiarity with secure transport protocol TLS and associated troubleshooting. Configuration expertise with multiple Avaya platforms, including the Avaya Aura product family, Avaya Session Border Controller (SBC), Avaya IP Office, Avaya Call Management System (CMS), as well as other Avaya Contact Center products, Soft Clients, and Desk phones Data networking expertise, with the ability to configure switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, VPN appliances, firewall, DHCP and DNS servers, FTP servers, along with VMware Administration skills Ability to clearly communicate and write documentation in English Troubleshooting issues in the aforementioned areas
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
